We highly recommend reaching out to us in January of the year your child turns 3. Since our spaces are limited, connecting early ensures we can begin the conversation, confirm suitability, and prepare for their transition into our learning environment.
-
Readiness isn't about academics; it is about the desire for independence, such as wanting to do tasks "by myself." Montessori is great for children who enjoy hands-on activities and exploring their own unique interests.
-
While traditional daycares provide vital supervision and group-dictated play, our classroom is an immersive educational environment. Playtime here is intentional. Rather than just passing the time, we actively cultivate your child's natural desire to learn, building an academic and practical foundation that perfectly sets the stage for Grade 1 and beyond.

Families in Kenora choose to keep their children with us for their JK and SK years because of the benefits of the Montessori 3-year cycle. In larger public or Catholic school classes, it is easy for a child's individual pace to get lost. Here, your child stays in a familiar, peaceful environment with small class sizes where they transform from observant beginners into confident, capable classroom mentors. By the time they complete our program, they have built a deep sense of focus and independence, putting them at or above expected educational milestones and making them completely ready for Grade 1.
-
A dedicated rest period is built into your child's daily rhythm to support their well-being. If your child still requires a nap, they will be provided with a peaceful, comforting space to sleep. For children who have outgrown their naps, this period serves as a restorative quiet time for looking at books or engaging in calm, independent activities throughout the classroom.
-
We proudly qualify for the government childcare subsidy. This means our premium early education environment is highly accessible for Kenora families currently at just $22/day.

We love keeping parents involved! You will be given access to a digital application called Classroom Dojo, where our teachers regularly post pictures and updates so you can see the amazing accomplishments and joy your child experiences throughout the week
